Abstract Building upon previous work on pattern classification of Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA) used in stress disorder treatments, this paper presents an extended approach to analyze the implications of sequences of classified RSA. Through a combination of consulting with field ex-perts and clustering of RSA sequences, each coupled to a particular pa-tient session, session stereotype cases are created to allow for analysis of RSA time series on a structural level, both as a way for physicians to discover previously unknown relationships or verify their own theories and as a way to make the thought process easier to follow for non-experts. |
